Troubleshooting the Android-PC Connection

ma-USB-Notification It’s supposed to be easy: You connect one end of the USB cable to your phone or tablet. The other end plugs into the computer. You cannot confuse the ends. Further, once the connection is made, both computer and mobile device start talking.

Finding Mr. Good-Notepad

I really liked the AK Notepad. It was a good app, an original Android app, widely-available, and for a while it offered online synchronization of your notes. Now that AK Notepad has been retired, I’ve found and can recommend an Android notepad replacement.

Why You Can’t Force Upgrade Your Android Device

The link (below) describes why the endless touching, or mashing, of the Check For Updates button on your phone or tablet doesn’t force an upgrade. Unlike a desktop operating system, Google is a big more judicious in how new versions of the Android operating system are distributed.
