It seems weird, but taking a screenshot, making an image file of what you see on your mobile device’s screen, is something many people want to do. So many, in fact, that a default method exists to snap a quick screenshot on any Android.

This list includes advertising videos that automatically play, pop-ups that block most of the screen, and other annoyances. Coincidentally, Google obtains the bulk of its revenue through online ads. I suppose a relationship doesn’t exist between the two items.

February 1, 2018Screencasting WarsIt’s been a few years since we cut the cable. Now I have several choices for my viewing pleasure. I have my computer, my tablet, and my phone. I have a Nexus Player box on the Big TV. I can also screencast from my Android devices as well as my PCs. Because our TVs have Chromecast dongles attached, I can cast to any screen that’s active — but so can any other user on the network.
