Filed under: Main — admin @ 12:01 am

No one thought that DOS For Dummies would spawn a book publishing empire. Had that been the intention, more thought would have gone into that first cover. Regardless, that cover has spawned multiple generations of book series covers and trade dress.

Keyboard Snobbery Explained

Filed under: Main — Tags: — admin @ 12:01 am

The typical computer user looks at a keyboard and thinks, “Well, I suppose it has all the proper keys in the right place. Yep! I’ll take it.” But when you’re a keyboard snob, as I confess to be, other factors play into how you select a keyboard.

Playing with Calendar Categories

Filed under: Main — Tags: — admin @ 12:01 am

When you create an event in your Android’s Calendar app, you might be prompted to choose a “calendar.” I prefer the term “calendar category.” When you use these categories, you can organize your events according to duty. That step may be unnecessary, but it’s an option I find useful.
