Robotics is getting more Cylon-esque. This latest robot, shown in a video linked to below, looks pretty much like the one that will chase you through forests to hunt you down sometime around the year 2030. The Robot Apocalypse is well on its way.

July 11, 2013The Return of the TypewriterI think the headline says it all: Kremlin returns to typewriters to avoid computer leaks. How long has it been since you’ve used a typewriter, if ever? July 10, 2013Lovely Chrome Bookmarks If you haven’t yet switched to Google Chrome as your web browser, do so at once! Of all the web browsers, it’s certainly one of the fastest, if not the fastest. Further, you can use Chrome on your desktop, laptop, phone, and tablet and have all your bookmarks, passwords, even web history synchronized. That’s a really handy feature.

July 3, 2013Taking in a Little Jazz I’ll be blunt: A tablet makes an awkward camera. I mean, I just feel dorky when I hold up a huge-ass tablet to take a picture or shoot a video. I’m not as uncomfortable using a phone for that task, but tablets? Too big!

July 1, 2013Windows 8 Beats Windows VistaWhen it comes to Market Share, Windows 8 comes out on top! Well, it comes out on top of Windows Vista, which isn’t saying much. That’s because prior to Windows 8, Windows Vista was universally heralded as the suckiest version of Windows. Although, I always thought that honor belonged to Windows ME. Anyone remember Windows ME? The kings of Windows versions, at least according to the article (below), remain Windows 7 at 44% of the market and, yes, good ol’ Windows XP at 37%. Gotta love that Windows XP!
