It’s probably been a year since I posted anything here. In fact, probably last year when I did the Porchcam Highlights for 2020.
The year 2021 brought 365 days of six times daily Wambooli Porchcam grabs for a total of 2,190 images — minus a few times the camera screwed up or the Internet was down. It’s still the same hardware, which amazes me. It takes images at 6:00, 9:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, and 21:00. Occasionally, during those times, something interesting or different appears in the image. The gallery shows the highlights, along with my comments.
Happy 2022!
- It’s always a good day when FedEx shows up. And look at the temperature! No snow on the ground in February. Nice.
- That’s my kitty Joseph Button enjoying a chilly evening.
- Through rain or snow or dread of night, my letter carrier is there for me!
- Watering the front lawn and plants by hand.
- My sprinkler guy bailed on my and the system stopped working. So I had to water everything by hand.
- People using my Free Little Library.
- Whoa! Someone stuck over 400 Peeps into my front yard. I hate Peeps.
- This amazing redhead is a lot happier than she looks!
- That white thing is a bat. I call him Batty. He’s my neighborhood bat.
- Fat guy. No shoes. But a nice July day.
- Nothing interesting to see, but check out the temperature! 108/42. We had temperatures over 100 for a few weeks. It was hell.
- Damn! That redhead is hot. Why is she talking to the fat old guy?
- More watering by hand. I usually started at about 5:30.
- First snow accumulation of the season. Lots of it outside now (in January).
- That’s me out by the library cleaning up the street.
- Fat guy hanging Christmas lights. A similar image was posted last year. i suppose I do this at the same time of day each year.
- Me and the redhead.
- Sprinklers finally working, but check out mid center right. That’s a fire extinguisher stolen from the local community college. Someone just left it there on the sidewalk.
