This past year, my PorchCam snapped over 2,100 images. I review every one and pluck out those that have something notable in them. Because nothing exciting ever happens in my neighborhood, I really had to search to finally come up with 15 images that are marginally interesting.
- Coldest day of the year:, -9º F or -22ºC. Brrr!
- A student from North Idaho College (down the street from me) walks home. Mostly they walk in the street.
- A glorious day: The FedEx lady has dropped off a package.
- A warm day in April. Far right in the photo you can see the top of a ladder and measuring tape. I’m preparing to hang some bamboo curtains to keep the sun out of my office.
- A raven has arrived from Winterfell!
- My kitty, Morton Boop, frantically darts across the lawn.
- My lawn care man.
- The PorchCam was reset when I upgraded my router. This is the default image before I aimed it back at the front walkway.
- My son Jeremiah drove this fancy truck to work when he was home from college over the summer.
- Morton Boop investigates something near one of my silver linden trees.
- A student returning from school or someone out for a vigorous walk.
- Halloween.
- First snow (that sticks) of the season. This fall has been mild, weather-wise. It’s been warm, so what snow we have does melt quickly.
- Mailman!
- Some fat guy blowing the walkway after a windstorm.
