Over the past two years, it’s estimated 850,000 scams have perpetuated on Facebook. That’s a lot. The problem is that most Facebook users can’t tell what’s a scam and what’s not.
Blame Facebook’s interface and users familiarity with it. Because things are easy to learn and do on Facebook, the scammers can horn right in.
I’ve not been entangled by any Facebook scams, mostly because I’m über aware of clickbait.
