August 22, 2014Five Things for Android Not on iPhoneZDnet has summarized a list of nifty Android phone features you won’t find coming to an iPhone near you any time soon. Granted, not all of these features are things you’ll find on every Android smartphone. Still, it’s an impressive list.

Small Programs, Immediate FeedbackProgramming a computer may seem like a daunting task, but it’s actually one of the simplest things you can learn — provided that it’s taught properly. August 20, 2014Do You Miss Word 2013’s Open Dialog Box?Word 2013 unceremoniously dispensed with the traditional Open dialog box. It was replaced with something called Back Stage. August 14, 2014Wi-Fi Electromagnetic Fields Gonna Git YaOh, here we go again: Another article about the prevalence of malevolent electromagnetic radiation, this time emanating from the gazillions of Wi-Fi networks that invisibly permeate the air around us. The list of maladies in the article (link below) are generic enough to please any hypochondriac. The truth? Who knows, but studies like this serve to brighten up an otherwise dull day in the mass media. Face it, something has to feed the appetite for multiple, 24-hour news channels that pump “breaking news” every 20 seconds. My thoughts? Thigh cancer from keeping cell phones in your pants pockets all the time. That’s not mentioned in the article.
