Windows 8 Official Sucks

Because now they’ve announced Windows 8.1, that will once again allow you to start your computer at the Desktop instead of the stupid tile interface that everyone hates and no one uses.

It’s about freakin’ time.

The article (link below), also contains this quote

Research group IDC has blamed Windows 8 for accelerating a decline in PC sales.

My guess is that the manufacturers are seething with Microsoft over this abuse operating system. Is the nightmare over, or is it too late for the PC and Windows to recover?

How do you explain a buffer? If you were my grandmother, you would believe it to be some soft, fuzzy utensil used to polish something. “Bring me the buffer, I need to wax the car,” she would say. A computer programmer would find himself completely perplexed at such a request.

Google Talk is now Google Hangouts

Hangouts.icon I knew this was coming: If you were a fan of Google Talk (and I was), then it’s been replaced and upgraded. The new replacement upgrade is called Google Hangouts, which was once a Google+ Feature. The Hangouts app now replaces the old Talk app on your phone or tablet.
