Authorities in Russia have sentenced a notorious spammer to prison. The net result is that the world’s spam email is lighter by nearly 30 percent. That must have been one impressive email account that jerk had!

Farmville-Playing Mom Kills Baby

This is just sad and stupid, but apparently Mom was angry that her three-month-old was crying, interrupting her fascinating game of Farmville. So the devoted mother shook the little boy to death. There is no punishment cruel enough for this bitch.

Binary Monday

Today is 10-11-10. That’s a binary number! It’s 2-3-2 in decimal. But if you write the number as 101110 it’s the value 46. That’s ASCII for the period character. Hexadecimal it’s 0x2E. O, I love being a nerd!

After nearly two decades of dominating the browser market, Internet Explorer is passing the 50 percent mark, on its way down. Firefox is holding steady. The big increase is coming from Google Chrome.

The Internet is Almost Full!

Well, full of crap mostly, but what’s really cramping the Internet is a lack of IP addresses. The world is running out. Quickly! I last blogged about the ipv4 and ipv6 problem back in 2008. Could this be the real end of the Internet?
