I think the headline says it all:
Kremlin returns to typewriters to avoid computer leaks.
How long has it been since you’ve used a typewriter, if ever?

I’ve got an electronic Brother typewriter in need of a bit of repair sitting in storage right now. It even has a floppy drive that takes oddball 2″ floppies. They must be rare because you can’t find any images of the disks on Google Images.

I think I remember that model.
My relationship with electric typewriters was a rocky one. I’d break them because I type so fast. I bought an antique Underwood upright a few years ago. It’s similar to the typewriter I had when I was a kid. Totally mechanical, I still use it to fill in forms. It does need a new ribbon. I remember when you could readily find typewriter ribbons at an office supply store — probably along side the 2″ floppies!
