Filed under: Main — admin @ 12:01 am

I’ve started writing a troubleshooting blog. No, you won’t find that blog here on Wambooli. Instead, you’ll have to visit the PC Live web site and go to their new blog, For PC’s Sake.

Buying Memory Pain

Filed under: Main — admin @ 12:01 am

Just recently I bought a 512MB DIMM to upgrade one of my PCs. It didn’t fit. Though I thought I had checked all the stats, I bought the wrong thing. Then you probably noticed that your computer wouldn’t start, or something equally weird. So you did a System Restore. That leads to the question, what the heck is Microsoft Silverlight and do you really need it?

Windows XP, Last Chapter

Filed under: Main — admin @ 12:01 am

Microsoft has released a Service Package (SP) for Windows XP. It’s called SP3 because it’s the third and final service package for Windows XP. The thing was released this past week, and it’s not making users happy.

I am a Fool

Filed under: Main — admin @ 12:01 am

Yeah, I’ve written about it often enough. I know how it works. But call it stupid timing. I fell victim to a phishing scam. O the shame!
