Because a new media player is under development, Apple isn&#8217;t patching any existing QuickTime installation. Instead, their advice is to uninstall the beast.<\/p>\n<p>If you go to the Start menu, type <strong>QuickTime<\/strong>. You should see the Uninstall QuickTime program in the list.
