It’s a special Facebook app that collects and summarizes your past year in photos. It’s an automatic process and, much to Facebook’s surprise, few people are bothering to use it.

I received one of the prompts as well. At first, I was kind of angry, but then I noticed that it was an unpublished sample. I opted not to use it. A few of my friends have, but apparently the bulk of Facebook users have declined.

One of the reasons might be that the images selected by Facebook could be unpleasant: A dying grandma, a former spouse, and other images that perhaps don’t reflect upon the past year in a positive manner. Anyway, I think it’s cute that the feature is pulling a bellyflop.

NPR

[6

post-7040","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-wambooli-news
["GET
