It may still have the downloads. I&#8217;m pretty sure they&#8217;re virus-free. But the bloatware? Well, that comes in a wrapper.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nApparently download.com is sticking bloatware in the installer scripts, so you automatically get crap you don&#8217;t want when you download something legitimate. In case you don&#8217;t know, bloatware are those extra programs, toolbars, and other annoying add-ons that you probably don&#8217;t want, don&#8217;t need, and didn&#8217;t ask for.<\/p>\n<p>In most cases, you can dispense with the bloatware by checking (or un-checking) a box before the download starts. That&#8217;s okay.
