For a while they appeared on the Wambooli site, and they looked typical of the web advertising back in the day.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nLooking back, I&#8217;m surprised at how small they are, typically 350-by-50 pixels. But keep in mind that monitors had lower resolution back then as well, with 800-by-600 a typical resolution for a Windows user. So they probably looked bigger back in the day.<\/p>\n<p>The ads were once manually updated by myself. Then I had an automated script, written in Perl, that would rotate them. Eventually the web host stopped supporting Perl, so I&#8217;d rotate them manually again.<\/p>\n<p>A few revisions ago, I dropped them from the Wambooli page. They still exist on my computer, though.
