\nFirst.<\/strong> Check out this cool video<\/a> from my pal Deke McCelland, he of Photoshop fame. I’ve known Deke for a while and as you can see from the video, we used to commiserate regarding a certain publisher.<\/p>\n

Deke’s a great guy and has had an awesome career run. I’m happy to see that he’s still finding success. Folks, he writes the best Photoshop books out there. Period.<\/p>\n

Second.<\/strong> I’ve been working on the Dictionary<\/a> again! I’ve added lots of new code, plus about 70 new words. It continually amazes me how many words are not in the Dictionary. So I add them. Thanks to those of you who have suggested the new words, either intentionally or by searching for them.<\/p>\n

The new code I’ve written allows for “best matching” type searches. So when you type in a term that’s close to an existing term, the dictionary will attempt to find it. I’m still refining things, but my goal is to make the Dictionary smarter.<\/p>\n

Third.<\/strong> I continue my double-blogging duty, both here on Wambooli thrice weekly as well as at the PC Live website, with my 5-times-a-week blog, For PC’s Sake<\/a>. Check it out, if you haven’t already.<\/p>\n

By the way, the PC Live company is located underwater right now. Yes, they’re in Iowa and their headquarters were deluged by the rising rivers of the American heartland. I don’t know what the current status is, but the company remains on-line and helping folks, just at another location. I hope that things dry out soon for PC Live.
