Not being a member of the Corporate community, I was unaware that employees are typically forbidden to use their personal smartphones and tablets for work activities. That seems silly to me, and especially silly to the new generation of workers being weaned on mobile technology. Hopefully future corporate doodooheads will recognize the importance of personal, mobile communications, and eventually welcome those gizmos into the workplace.
