Shhh! Windows 10 is supposed to be bright and new and full of cool things everyone wanted. Forget about Windows 8! And don’t bother that Microsoft skipped over Windows 9 completely. Windows 10 has everything you love. Well, except the Control Panel, which you may love, but it’s hidden from you. Still, I know how to quickly find it.

Filed under: Main — admin @ 12:01 am

This idea isn’t mine, nor is it original, but I’ve studied up on it enough to feel that the theory is heading in the proper direction: The Internet economy is based on two things: Sales and advertising. Neither of them are working to the benefit of everyone.

Time Travel to 1982 and Deal with a JPEG

Filed under: Main — admin @ 12:01 am

Today, downloading an image from the Internet takes mere seconds. It’s not a big deal. Yet, I remember in the 1990s, when I originally crafted the Wambooli website, I made sure that all the graphics were about 50K in size. I didn’t want someone to grow old while the page loaded.

The Emoji Craze

Filed under: Main — Tags: — admin @ 12:01 am

Emoji is a Japanese word that means picture character. It also has a keen association with the English word emotion. These tiny picture characters find themselves in text messages and emails to express thoughts that words alone cannot. If you’re like me and kind of out-of-touch with the kids these days, then let me explain that Emojis are insanely popular.
