With the most recent update to YouTube, some things work differently than described in the book.

Overall, the look of the new YouTube app is different than what you'll find in the book. The general way the app works, however, hasn't really changed that much.

One big difference is that the My Account command is now called My Channel. (Bet you never thought you'd have your own video channel, eh?) So when you want to find videos you've uploaded, press the Menu soft button and choose My Channel.

Videos you've recently added have the text New appear by their entries. That helps to easily locate things.

Also, Videos can now play in a vertical orientation, as shown below.

I'm very insistent in the book that YouTube videos play in only one orientation. That's still kind of true: They play full screen in only one orientation. But when you hold your mobile gizmo in a vertical direction, you'll see the videos play as shown above.

The screen controls are pretty simple now: Touch the video to pause; touch again to play.
