Depth of Field and Zoom Lenses, Page 59
The paragraph on page 59 that explains zooming and depth of field is 180 degrees wrong. It should read thusly:
"The only time you want to avoid using a closer (zoomed-in) angle is when you need a wide depth of filed. That's because the depth of field decreases with the lens length. For the most dramatic shallow depth of field, zoom in on an object. But when you need the widest depth of field, zooming out helps increase the field size."
