Note the subject line, "Disappointed in your reply." What is it that these people want? I get so many letters were people are thankful that I even did reply. And, if she had read the book, it states that I cannot answer every question. But anyway...

I went to Office Max yesterday to see if they had any help they could give me on the save as feature. They did not but suggested the book Word 2000 for Dummies. At that time I told them I found the Dummies books to be useless in the past but since I am desperate, I bought one - I was right in the first place - they are useless and I wonder how you can write a supposedly informational book when you have had no experience with the software. I will pass this information on to Office Max Corp.

My Dear [name]:
I am not required to answer your original e-mail, yet I did. I get no money for it. No one pays me to sit down and reply to e-mail, especially when your question is on a program I admit that I do not use. Yet, in all my kindness, I gave you an answer.
Yet, you return my kindness with the nastiest of hate mail. This is okay. I collect hate mail. My readers enjoy it when I share hate mail with them.
But, Dear [name], I must point out that my book covers the Microsoft Word word processing program. It states so right on the cover. You, on the other hand, are using Microsoft Works, a completely different program, one that I have already admitted to you I do not use nor do I know anything about.
If you would like to punish me via Office Max for not covering Works in a book about Word, then that's your own issue. I also do not cover gardening, health tips, or how to manage your money. Will you complain to Office Max about that as well?
I believe the fault would most likely lie with the Office Max employee who recommends a Word book to a Works user. But if you want to punish me, so be it.
I have tried my best.
