Save Me!

My advice: Save your documents! Save them right away, as soon as your create something, such as a smidgen of text in a word processor. Then save frequently and often. That’s good advice, but it begs the question of where to save.

This cloud storage stuff is becoming ridiculous. I understand the value. I use cloud storage. With so many players are into the act now, I actually have more cloud storage options than I know what to do with.

Filename Shortcut – Shortcut

It’s one of the most annoying things in Windows: When you create a file shortcut, the text shortcut is appended to the filename. It’s redundant because of the shortcut flag on the icon anyway, and it requires you to do more work in that you need to rename the shortcut immediately after it’s created. So I have a solution.

The Hunt for Headsets

Filed under: Main — Tags: — admin @ 12:01 am

After your first computer purchase, the next purchase involves less stuff. That’s because you can keep your monitor, keep the keyboard, keep the mouse, keep lots of stuff. The lifespan on those items is far greater than the computer console itself. The exception? Headsets.
