I’m passing this on from Droid-Life. Apparently the Google Currents app, called “Currents” on the App screen, can cause your tablet to slow down. I’ve not experienced this situation, but you might. The cure can be found by clicking the link:

November 24, 2012The First Apple 1 Ever SoldThe article (below) shows some early pictures of the Apple 1 prototype, which was sold at the world’s first computer store, the Byte Shop, located in Mountain View, California. I never had an Apple 1, and I lusted for an Apple ][ computer. I finally obtained an Apple //c and then an Apple IIgs, but by then the Macintosh was the preferred Apple computer. It was a good run. With all the touchscreen nonsense on smartphones, tablets, and now Windows 8, the world’s favorite computer pointing device may have a shortened lifespan, soon to join the floppy disk and the CD-ROM in the digital dumpster of destiny. I remember my first computer mouse. I still have the manual! (There’s a future blog post…) It was a Microsoft two-button mouse. It came with Microsoft Paint as well as a programming guide. Yep, those were the days! The most recent mouse I purchased was a Microsoft Bluetooth wireless mouse. Times do change.
