  1. Okay, I’ll admit it, I am a narcissist, and I have been labelled as insecure, and I’m a Facebook user.

  2. How can you have low self esteem and be narcissistic? Isn’t part of narcissism an elevated self worth?

  3. The people I have known how have low self-esteem are also quite narcissistic. E.g., they’re attention whores, but they’re very insecure about it.

  4. insecure + narcissistic = self absorbed

gamerguy- Im guessing you dont associate very much with todays youth because being self absorbed is very much part of popular youth culture, basically being emo or hipster

  5. Indeed. Look at our media: “Reality” TV shows. YouTube. When polled, more young people prioritized being famous than being rich, successful, or happy. It’s a sick culture, and Facebook is the mirror.
