I have thought the same thing when playeing Stalker clear sky which is Russian it made me laugh because the game was quite buggy and sometimes the enemy would start doing what looked like a chicken walk and they kept saying, something like arogio brow. I have no idea what it means or how to spell it.

When id's Wolfenstein 3-D came out, several of my friends wondered "why are they saying 'shoe shuffle' ?". It was a long while before we found out they were saying "Schutzstaffel", the Nazi SS's equivalent of saying "stop ! police !". I much preferred it when, many years later, the Nazis in Return To Castle Wolfenstein spoke english in heavy german accents. Not realistic, but it afforded me much smoother game play; I never paused to think about what they were saying.

I prefer to be anti-partisan. Once upon a time I was vice-chair of the state Libertarian party. I remain a Libertarian at heart. The city council race was non-partisan. Some people thought I was a Democrat, some a Republican, so they doled out their hatred accordingly.

I hate that the left can't try legitimate tactics like doing a rally somewhere else. They have to ruin someone else's rally instead. I know you ran for a public office, but what did you run for and what party were you in?

It was the book that started me out for C++. I will admit that it didn't cover nearly enough to make anyone a pro with C++. But it was certainly a good starter book (at least for me). I'm about to buy a more advanced book to learn a little more about the intricacies of the language.

gamerguy473- C++ for Dummies was my first programming book that I bought back in 2001, easily the worst C++ book ever. If youre new to programming I promise you the wow factor of running C++ programs out of that book are going to wear off fast because most all the early C++ books try to sell OOP as the only way to program. OOP is just a tool that fits certain situations, it is not a way of improving programming nor does it make old style C programming obsolete. People who just accept OOP at face value and use it for everything end up always making bloated and over complicated programs. If after a couple of months you are scratching your head and asking yourself why am I doing this, then by Dans book "C for Dummies All-in-One Desk Reference" so that you really understand the low level part of C++ and then learn OOP with Java.

I have stopped using USB sticks on public computers because of this reason. I have set my anti virus to scan removable media but most public terminals don't have a decent anti virus program, so I after find loads of those on my USB stick I just stopped using, I now save any documents on line using drop box or just on email.
