Track Changes Research

Late last year, I was hired to do some research on Microsoft Word. Not the current version, but Word 2003. It was the last major revision of Word before the 2007 update, which brought the Ribbon interface to Office and lots of angst to various users.

An Attack on GoDaddy’s Web Servers

I host Wambooli, as well as my other websites, on GoDaddy. I’ve been doing so for years, ever since my old and despised web hosting provider was consumed by GoDaddy around the turn of the century. I know that many web developers don’t like GoDaddy, but I’ve tolerated them. Until now.

Monitor Resolution Update

Beyond the processor, one of the most murky regions where names, numbers, and abbreviations lurk is the computer monitor. Evolution doesn’t remove the old names, but it does settle down the field to something more reasonable.
